Attributes

Assigning Your Attributes

Every student possesses six core attributes:

Strength (STR), Dexterity (DEX), Constitution (CON), Intelligence (INT), Wisdom (WIS), and Charisma (CHA).

To create your character, assign the following values to your attributes in any order you choose:

18, 16, 14, 13, 12, 10

Place your highest scores in the attributes that best reflect your character's strengths.

A brilliant mutant scientist might place their 18 in Intelligence, while a powerful living-stone hero might place theirs in Strength or Constitution. A natural leader may choose Charisma, while a master martial artist might prioritise Dexterity.

There is no single "correct" choice. Your attributes should help tell the story of who your character is.

STRENGTH (STR)

Raw Physical Power

Strength measures your physical might, athletic ability, and capacity to exert force.

Mutants with high Strength can lift heavier objects, strike harder in combat, and perform incredible feats of physical prowess. Whether you're a stone-skinned powerhouse like Bedrock or simply an exceptionally fit student, Strength determines how effectively you can overcome physical obstacles.

Useful for: Melee combat, lifting, climbing, athletics, breaking objects, grappling, and feats of power.

DEXTERITY (DEX)

Speed, Agility & Precision

Dexterity measures coordination, reflexes, balance, and fine motor control.

A high Dexterity allows you to dodge attacks, react quickly, maintain balance, and perform complex physical actions with precision. Many speedsters, martial artists, and ranged combat specialists rely heavily on Dexterity to stay one step ahead of danger.

Useful for: Initiative, dodging attacks, stealth, acrobatics, ranged combat, piloting, and reflex-based powers.

CONSTITUTION (CON)

Endurance & Resilience

Constitution measures physical toughness, stamina, and resistance to injury.

Mutants with high Constitution can withstand punishment, resist disease, push themselves beyond normal limits, and recover from physical strain more easily. Whether you possess invulnerable stone skin or simply refuse to stay down, Constitution keeps you fighting when others would fall.

Useful for: Health, endurance, resisting toxins, surviving extreme conditions, maintaining powers, and staying conscious after injury.

INTELLIGENCE (INT)

Knowledge & Problem Solving

Intelligence measures reasoning ability, education, memory, and analytical thinking.

A high Intelligence helps you solve mysteries, understand complex technology, master scientific disciplines, and develop creative solutions to difficult problems. Some of the world's most powerful mutants possess average physical abilities but extraordinary intellect.

Useful for: Investigation, science, medicine, technology, research, tactics, engineering, and academic subjects.

WISDOM (WIS)

Awareness & Insight

Wisdom measures perception, intuition, self-control, and understanding of the world around you.

A wise mutant notices details others miss, remains calm under pressure, and makes sound decisions when it matters most. Wisdom often governs how effectively a character understands people, controls their emotions, and interprets unusual situations.

Useful for: Perception, intuition, survival, emotional control, power discipline, detecting danger, and understanding others.

CHARISMA (CHA)

Presence & Influence

Charisma measures confidence, leadership, charm, and force of personality.

A high Charisma allows you to inspire allies, negotiate with rivals, command attention, and leave a lasting impression wherever you go. Some heroes lead with strength. Others lead with words. Charisma determines how effectively you influence the people around you.

Useful for: Leadership, persuasion, public speaking, deception, performance, teamwork, social influence, and inspiring others.

BUILDING YOUR HERO

No single attribute is more important than the others.

A genius technomancer may rely on Intelligence.

A super-speedster may depend on Dexterity.

A powerhouse might focus on Strength and Constitution.

A natural, wise leader could prioritise Charisma and Wisdom.

Think carefully about the kind of mutant you want to become. Your powers may define what you can do, but your attributes define how you do it.

Choose wisely.
