Power Attack
You sacrifice accuracy for sheer force.
Benefit: Before making a melee attack, you may take: -2 Attack to gain: +4 Damage
The decision must be made before rolling the attack.

Deadly Aim
You sacrifice accuracy for increased ranged damage.
Benefit: Before making a ranged attack, you may take: -2 Attack to gain: +4 Damage.
This may also be used with appropriate ranged mutation attacks.

Combat Expertise
You fight defensively, sacrificing aggression for protection.
Benefit: Take -2 on Attack rolls until the beginning of your next turn to gain +2 Defence for the same duration.

Dodge
You are particularly adept at avoiding attacks.
Benefit: Gain a permanent +2 Defence.

Combat Reflexes
You react instantly when an opponent leaves themselves vulnerable.
Benefit: You may make one additional Attack of Opportunity each round.

Improved Unarmed Combat
You have received extensive hand-to-hand training.
Benefit: Your unarmed attacks deal 1d6 damage if they would normally deal less.
You do not provoke Attacks of Opportunity when fighting unarmed.
Gain +1 Unarmed Combat.

Knockback
Your attacks can send opponents flying.
Prerequisite: STR 16+ or Super Strength
Benefit: When you successfully hit with a melee attack, you may attempt to knock the target backwards.
The target makes a Fortitude save.
On failure, they are pushed 10 feet.
For characters with Super Strength, add another 10 feet per Power Rank above Rank 1.
The GM may increase this dramatically for particularly cinematic attacks.

Follow Through
Once you start moving, you are difficult to stop.
Prerequisite: STR 13+
Benefit: When you reduce an opponent to 0 Health with a melee attack, you may immediately make one additional melee attack against another opponent within reach.
Limit: Once per round.

Mobile Fighter
You have learned to fight while constantly moving.
Prerequisite: DEX 13+
Benefit: You may divide your Movement before and after your Action.
For example:
Move 15 ft → Attack → Move 15 ft.
This movement does not grant additional total Movement.

Protector
Your first instinct is to protect others.
Benefit: When an adjacent ally is targeted by an attack, you may use your Reaction to place yourself between the attacker and your ally.
You become the target instead.
You must declare this before the attack roll is resolved.
