Invisibility and Concealment are among the most subtle and misunderstood mutation categories in existence. While many powers announce themselves with explosions, storms, or displays of overwhelming force, these abilities thrive on remaining unnoticed.

An invisible mutant can move unseen through a crowded room.

A concealed mutant can stand directly before an enemy and remain undetected.

The strongest users of this power do not simply hide their bodies.

They hide their presence.

Their sound.

Their scent.

Their heat.

Their very existence.

In a world filled with powerful heroes and dangerous villains, there is tremendous power in being overlooked.

WHAT IS INVISIBILITY & CONCEALMENT?

Invisibility and Concealment refer to any mutation that reduces, obscures, or completely removes a character's ability to be detected.

This includes abilities such as:

  • Optical Invisibility

  • Camouflage

  • Sound Suppression

  • Scent Concealment

  • Thermal Concealment

  • Stealth Enhancement

  • Perception Manipulation

  • Light Bending

  • Shadow Concealment

  • Presence Suppression

  • Chameleon Physiology

  • Sensory Evasion

Many Concealment Mutants develop strong observational skills because they spend so much time watching without being watched.

POWER DEVELOPMENT

Invisibility often begins with simple visual concealment before evolving into complete sensory suppression.

A beginning Concealment Mutant might be capable of:

  • Becoming difficult to see.

  • Blending into shadows.

  • Hiding more effectively.

  • Concealing small objects.

As their powers evolve, they may learn to:

  • Become completely invisible.

  • Conceal allies.

  • Suppress sound.

  • Hide from electronic sensors.

  • Mask their scent and heat signature.

  • Avoid supernatural detection.
